Our Guiding Philosophy
NPower Arizona exists to serve nonprofits' technology needs. Every day, we put technology know-how in the hands of nonprofits to increase their ability to serve Arizona's communities.
Our vision is a thriving nonprofit sector in which all organizations have access to the best technology resources and assistance, and can apply them to help create healthy, vibrant communities.
Our mission is to ensure Arizona nonprofits can use technology to better serve their communities.
We are passionate about the work of nonprofits. Every NPower Arizona service, strategy and value is informed by and evaluated on what helps nonprofits succeed at achieving their missions.
NPower Arizona is an affiliate of the NPower Network, a national network of local nonprofits that help other nonprofits use technology to better serve their communities. In addition to Microsoft Corporation's visionary and founding support of the NPower Network, NPower Arizona received start-up funding from the Arizona Community Foundation, Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust and the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust.
Since we opened our doors in 2003, we have supported more than 250 nonprofits through training, consulting, community events and technology planning. NPower Arizona has also facilitated donations of nearly a half-million dollars in Microsoft licenses to local nonprofits, and has hosted more than 1,500 student-hours of training and community education events. Our service area has primarily focused on Maricopa County, but is expanding to include additional regions of Arizona over the next few years.
